Hospice & Palliative Care Recruitment

The population of the communities we serve continues to grow as does the need for quality hospice and palliative caregivers as well as administrative professionals.

As a result, HPCIC is always recruiting full-time, part-time and PRN staff. Specific positions will be updated here as they become available, but we encourage you to complete the application so that your information is on file in our office.

    HOMECARE RN FLOAT

    Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday position is currently available with the Statesville & Mooresville homecare teams. We are offering a $2500 sign-on bonus with a 2 year employment contract and an additional $2500 bonus after the first year of employment.

    This is a weekday role from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

    Float RN will provide triage support, assist with patient visits for case managers as needed, and other duties as assigned.   Position requires independent self-starters with strong triage skills. 

    Two years nursing experience with home health/hospice and/or facility experience preferred. Advanced understanding of the end-of-life care process required.

    HOMECARE/FACILITIES RN STATESVILLE

    Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday position is currently available with the Statesville homecare team. We are offering a $2500 sign-on bonus with a 2 year employment contract and an additional $2500 bonus after the first year of employment.

    This is a weekday role from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

    RNs will work between homecare case management and facilities case management. RNs will also assist with call rotation and will serve as an active member of the IDG team.   Positions require independent self-starters with strong triage skills. 

    Two years nursing experience with home health/hospice and/or facility experience preferred. Advanced understanding of the end-of-life care process required.

    HOSPICE PHYSICIAN OR NURSE PRACTITIONER

    A Full Time Physician (MD or DO) or Nurse Practitioner is needed to assist with the hospice and palliative care of patients in the homecare setting as well as local hospitals, nursing facilities and the Gordon Hospice House.  This position will perform both Hospice patient visits as well as Palliative Care consultations under the direction of the Hospice Medical Director.

    Competitive salary and benefit package available.  Two years as a physician or nurse practitioner with experience in family practice ideal, experience in hospice and palliative care preferred. Sign on bonus available but dependent on experience.

    OUTREACH LIAISON

    A full-time (40 hour per week) Outreach Liaison position is available. This position is responsible for building relationships with and implementing marketing and sales plans to maintain and grow referrals from physician practices, assisted and skilled nursing facilities and home health agencies. Position also responsible for assisting in the development of marketing materials with the goal of increasing awareness of Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County and services provided. Exercises discretion and judgment with the authority to make independent decisions on matters pertaining to improving relationships between HPCIC and referral sources.  Assists with coordination of events and performs diversified projects in support of the activities and operations of the organization.

    Associates degree in communications, business, or marketing is preferred, with a minimum of three years’ related experience in healthcare business. Sales experience also preferred.  May substitute two additional years’ experience for Associates degree.  Extensive proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management.  Skilled in extracting and compiling technical data; report format for tables, graphs, slides and statistical reports.  Mastery of essential general office procedures, health care terminology and systems preferred.  Self-starter and effective problem-solver; excellent verbal, written communication skills and good interpersonal and organizational skills.  Display a professional demeanor and maintains confidentiality.
